The rubber hoses used in genuine parts, including brake and clutch hoses, have high pressure loss, and in the case of power steering hoses, this results in loss of steering response. Furthermore, in older vehicles, heavy use of the power steering system can easily cause the hoses to rupture. Therefore, by replacing them with our proven, low-expansion Teflon hose (high-pressure side), we eliminate concerns about line damage and guarantee more precise steering.

The high-pressure side of the line is manufactured using our original Teflon hose (#6) that can withstand burst pressures up to 690 kg/cm², plus an original hose end (1 location) with a crimped type. Incidentally, the power steering high-pressure side can experience pressures of nearly 100 kg/cm² even momentarily, so slip-on installations or conventional hoses and hose ends will definitely come loose! The low-pressure side of the line is a bolt-on type set using Earl's SS flex hose and our original econofitting for tightening.
