During an endurance race, a deterioration in engine power feel was observed. The causes were found to be 1) a rise in intake temperature, and 2) a correction function due to rising water temperature. Therefore, a forced intake duct was installed from the bumper, and after testing it with a large aluminum radiator, there was no change in engine feel, such as a loss of power. The installation is ideal, requiring no modification to the underside of the hood. The product specifically for S-Tai bonnets and bumpers is 60100-AP1-S01.
*Note: When installing on the AP1 late model or AP2, the duct needs to be modified.
