In designing and developing the muffler, we considered various combinations of conditions. Taking advantage of the fact that exhaust flow is more easily silenced at higher temperatures, we decided to maximize the muffler's sound-absorbing function by placing the exhaust pipe closest to the engine and centralizing the mass by placing the silencer at the center of the vehicle. As a result, the rear silencer is small and lightweight, with a single outlet on one side, reducing overhang weight and yaw, achieving good maneuverability. Of course, we sought to improve engine charging efficiency and enhance power performance, while also balancing the vehicle's overall dynamic performance. By combining construction methods and materials, and conducting repeated testing, we finally completed the ultimate muffler. The exhaust note is that famous Honda sound, and at high rpm it produces the pleasant sound unique to V-TEC engines.
