During sporty driving, where engine speeds fluctuate dramatically, stock radiator hoses can collapse like straws due to suction pressure and vibrations. This tendency is particularly pronounced when replacing with a larger radiator, as the amount of water absorbed is greater.

In sporty driving, the problem is not bursting due to high water pressure, but rather "collapse" due to suction pressure. Once "collapse" occurs, it will not return to its original shape even at idle speed, and the hose will quickly overheat. Spoon has created a vehicle-specific product using thick-walled SEP material that is highly resistant to deformation, similar to aluminum pipes used in racing.
