NISMO SUPER COPPERMIX Single

To Suit SR20 5MT/6MT Gearboxes for Silvia S13/S14/S15/180SX.

The strongest single clutch: one that can handle the 420ps, SR20DET engine but is still easy to operate. This was the development concept for the SUPER COPPERMIX.

Allowable torque 54kgf・m Strongest single clutch

Allowable torque with dynamic friction is 54kgf・m!! (Static friction: 81kgf・m) Expected allowable output is 420ps!! This single clutch system allows you to experience the greatest appeal of Coppermix, its ease of use and high output, at a high level. This series also has a standard specification that supports 380ps.

*NISMO standard measurement results obtained by installing a high-power specification SR20DET engine.

Large diameter φ240 size disc

By combining a φ240 size copper mix disc with an aluminum cover, stable transmission and cooling performance is achieved. After evaluating several models, including those from other companies, we decided to use the φ240 size to avoid performance degradation caused by using a small diameter disc under high load. Other companies' high-power compatible single clutches combine a small diameter disc with a high-pressure cover, but this is simply a multi-plate disc that has been diverted and set under high load. The selection of the φ240 size was the result of our pursuit of excellent durability and ease of use.

A lightweight flywheel

Made of special chromium and is set at an ideal weight to ensure torque. Included in the clutch kit.

Aluminum cover

A dedicated aluminum cover with excellent heat dissipation properties.

Strap-type cover

A strap-type cover is used to prevent any possible disconnection failure. With this mechanism, the pressure plate inside the cover moves away from the disc due to the reaction force of the strap plate, and is standard equipment on all production vehicles equipped with manual transmissions.
