NISMO SUPER COPPERMIX Twin Clutch

To suit SR20 5MT/6MT Transmissions - Nissan Silvia S13/S14/S15/180SX.

A super-strong clutch that combines ease of operation with an output ceiling of more than 600ps — This was the development concept that launched the SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN. NISMO first proposed this concept as a carbon twin product. Two years into its development, we decided that the low μ of carbon facings could not match the performance that COPPERMIX promised. We spent the next year and a half developing twin discs using COPPERMIX. This makes the SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN culmination of three and a half years of testing and development. It is the ultimate model in the NISMO multi-plate clutch series.

This multi-plate clutch system allows you to experience the greatest appeal of Coppermix - its ease of use and high output - at an even higher level.

*These are our standard measurements taken with a push-type suspension installed on an RB26DETT. All evaluations were performed on the assumption that the suspension was driven on the street and on the circuit. No zero-to-four-speed evaluation was performed.

Center hub

By using a center hub, the clutch disc has more engagement with the serration of the T/M input shaft, which results in a lower surface pressure on the serration. This reduces input shaft galling and prevents poor disengagement. At the same time, it suppresses the impact on the serration when assembling the clutch and the misalignment of the two clutch discs, making it easier to install the T/M than with a single clutch.

Lightweight Flywheel

Made of special chromium and is set at an ideal weight to ensure torque. Included in the clutch kit.

Aluminum Cover

A dedicated aluminum cover with excellent heat dissipation properties.

Adopts center plate with strap function

To prevent any possible disconnection failure, the center plate is equipped with a strap function. With this mechanism, the pressure plate moves away from the disc due to the reaction force of the strap plate, and is used as original equipment on all production vehicles equipped with manual transmissions.
