A steering wheel hub that tilts up without affecting safety or performance!
Designed to improve access to tight cockpits, making entering and exiting your vehicle that much easier!
Features:
-
A variety of functionalities born from years of experience.
By tilting up the steering wheel, you can get in and out of cars equipped with bucket seats or sports type seats smoothly. In addition, it makes it easier to approach the dashboard and foot pedals that were previously out of reach. -
Adopts a ball lock system. Achieves both design and functionality.
The tilt steering system adopts a ball lock system (patented by Works Bell). It has been newly developed based on the one-touch steering wheel removal system "Rapfix". By applying Rapfix's unique patented technology, a ball is used to connect the convex and concave shapes, achieving a smooth connection and reducing rattling. Like Raffix, it is an equipment part with high safety and reliability. The ball lock system "Raffix GTC" incorporates high technical capabilities in each part. A proud new addition to Works Bell's lineup.

Commitment that does not sacrifice safety or convenience.
In case of an emergency, a "2-step lock" is adopted. The lock will not be released unless the safety trigger is slid, so the steering wheel will not tilt up due to unexpected contact while driving. In addition, the tilted up steering wheel is suspended (stopped) steplessly by the engagement of the plunger mechanism. It can be adjusted to suit the difference in meter hood shape depending on the vehicle model, and can also be suspended at your preferred position. In addition, the "horn button" can be used. The horn terminal is built into the product body (plug) and the tilt up part (socket), so when tilted up, the power to the horn switch is cut, and when tilted down and locked, the dedicated electrical contacts reliably reconnect. - Advantages over conventional products; Many of the products that perform the same function from other companies have structural problems that make it difficult to suppress the rattle caused by the radial load of steering, and while they have the convenience of tilting up, they have had to sacrifice steerability and steering feel. However, by adopting the BLS (ball lock system), the Rafix GTC has achieved quality that far surpasses conventional products.
