Works Bell RAPFIX GTC-R Tilt-up Steering Wheel Hub (RACING USE)

Developed for races with driver changes. In races where driver changes are frequent, it is more accurate and efficient to change drivers by simply tilting up the steering wheel rather than attaching and detaching the steering wheel with a quick release. In order to meet this need, we have renewed the product that was already released as the Rapfix GTC for road vehicles as a part exclusively for competitions.

Features

By pulling the large lever newly designed for competitions, the plug on the vehicle side and the socket on the steering wheel side tilt up. It is equipped with a suspend function that stops at any angle, and a hold function that does not require the lever to be operated again when tilting down. To tilt down, just hold the steering wheel and tilt down, and the precision steel balls for ball bearings fit into the two recesses engraved on the plug and the tapered hole in the socket. They are completely connected by the force of the coil spring that loads the sleeve arm. The ball lock system established in the Rapfix series is used to achieve smooth hinge opening and closing and a lock without any shaking.
Problems of rattling and wear have been eliminated.

Specification

Developed exclusively for competition vehicles. For installation on the vehicle, the plug mounting surface has 6 holes with PCD50.8mm and M5P0.8 screw holes.
The steering wheel mounting part also has 6 holes with PCD50.8mm and M5P0.8 screw holes, and in order to support various electronic functions, an optional 2ch electrical contact can be installed, and there is space on the steering wheel mounting surface to allow wiring to escape, making it convenient.
