As seen in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GR86/BRZ Cup, this is a special bracket kit that can be used to relocate the switches on the original steering wheel of the 86 and BRZ when running an aftermarket steering wheel. The switch mounts can be repositions in a wing motion accommodate most 3-spoke steering wheels with a diameter of diameter of 350mm or more.
Notes:
Steering switches are not included. (Please remove it from the original steering wheel and relocate it to the product before use)
In addition to the SRD kit, a standard boss 542 or short boss 543S is required (sold separately)
Steering wheels with a diameter of 330mm or less may cause problems with steering operation. This is usually not the case for any deep dish steering wheels.
If you install the short boss with the original harness, the boss itself will press the spiral cable and cause damage, so be sure to use an extension harness.
The wiring is too short with the original harness, so the ACC switch cannot be relocated. Forcing the installation can cause disconnection, so be sure to use an extension harness if you want to relocate the ACC switch.
