The oil in the sump will forced to the side walls of the oil pan during side G force loads during Drifting, Time Attack and Drag Racing use. These problems can escalate to serious oil starvation in the engine when there is inadequate oil in the sump for the oil pickup which can lead to engine failure.

This oil pan increases the capacity with an extra 600cc without compromising the ground clearance so low cars will not have any issues. With the internal design featuring 2 swing back doors which further aid with holding the oil in the center of the pan for the oil pickup point.

Born and bred from the N2-SPEC Silvia race car Originally developed for the iconic N2 Silvia, this oil pan was engineered around a 270HP naturally aspirated Tomei SR20—hailed as the “Ultimate SR20 Race Engine” of its time. With dry sump systems prohibited by regulations, the factory wet sump had to be completely reimagined to handle intense track conditions, all while maintaining ground clearance for the car’s ultra-low ride height.
Designed for G-Forces This upgraded oil pan features a dual-plate system with a one-way rubber valve to keep the oil pickup fully submerged. Unlike the stock oil pan, which can suffer from oil starvation under hard driving, this design ensures consistent oil flow and protects critical engine components from potential failure.
Optimum Oil Capacity for Performance An additional 600cc of oil was determined to be the ideal volume for the demands of the N2 race cars—and it remains the benchmark for modern Time Attack, Circuit, Drift, and Drag applications. This increase ensures the pickup remains submerged without causing excess drag on the crankshaft or adding unnecessary weight, maintaining optimal oil delivery under extreme conditions.

Oil Splashing & Windage Control

At high RPM and under heavy G-forces, the spinning crankshaft can create oil cavitation, leading to unstable oil pressure and reduced lubrication. This design minimizes windage and splash to ensure consistent oil supply and engine reliability.
